Terms of Service

1. Who we are

1.1. Dimmi (the “Service”) is provided by Individual Entrepreneur CreativeAiArt (Sabina Erlanovna Nedoborova), Kazakhstan (“we”, “us”). Contact details are at the end of these Terms and on the Contacts page.

1.2. Payments in US dollars are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record: it is the seller of record of your purchase, charges your payment method, handles taxes and issues the receipt. Dodo Payments’ own terms also apply to the purchase.

1.3. By creating an account or buying a minute package you accept these Terms. Payments in Russian rubles are governed by the Public offer instead.

2. The Service

2.1. Dimmi turns speech into text and translates speech and text, in apps for Android, Windows, Linux and the web, with one account for all of them. Speech recognition and translation run in Google’s cloud.

2.2. Recognition and translation are automatic and may contain mistakes. The Service is provided “as is”; check the result before you rely on it.

3. Plans and prices

3.1. Free — no charge, with a daily allowance of Economy-mode minutes and a device limit.

3.2. Minute packages — a one-time purchase that adds minutes to your account’s single balance. A minute in Premium mode and a minute in Economy mode are deducted from the balance at different rates. Packages, their prices and minutes are on the Pricing page; the price shown at checkout applies.

3.3. Dodo Payments may add sales tax or VAT where the law of your country requires it; the total is shown before you pay.

4. Payment and delivery

4.1. You buy a package in your account on the Plan page; payment is a one-time charge on Dodo Payments’ checkout page. We never receive your card details.

4.2. The package’s minutes are added to your balance immediately once the payment is confirmed, and work on all devices of the account.

4.3. Each package is added to what is left on the balance. In Economy mode the free minutes of the day are used first, then the balance.

4.4. The balance has no expiry date and is kept while the account exists. Deleting the account cancels the unused balance — ask for a refund before you delete it.

5. No subscription

There is no subscription and no automatic renewal, so there is nothing to cancel: you buy a package only when you choose to. When the balance is used up, the free minutes of the Free plan remain. See Refunds and cancellation.

6. Refunds

You may ask for a refund at any time; we refund the unused minutes left on your balance pro rata — the package price times the share of its minutes not used (if you bought several packages, what is left counts against the latest ones; free minutes are not refunded), or the full payment if the minutes were not added through our fault. Refunds are issued by Dodo Payments to the original payment method. Details are on the Refunds and cancellation page.

7. Your account and acceptable use

7.1. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and use a real email address. One account may be used on up to the number of devices allowed for it.

7.2. Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. We may suspend an account that does.

8. Liability

8.1. We are not liable for interruptions caused by third parties (network providers, Google’s cloud, payment systems) or for the content you dictate or translate.

8.2. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the package the claim concerns.

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy policy.

10. Changes and governing law

10.1. We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page; it applies to payments made after it is published.

10.2. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking to you at the email below.
